Wells Place Centre has been super busy taking bookings for the government funded Skills Bootcamp initiative.
Please check out our brand new page advertising these courses on behalf of our customers. Courses starting in January include Health & Social Care, TA Skills and Leadership & Management. Check it out for more info and contact the training providers direct for more informaion or to book yourself onto a completely Free Course.

Christmas is coming!!

Our new Christmas menu is now available for our room hire customers. If you are a Coffee Shop visitor we are now taking orders for our Christmas afternoon tea - booking is essential!

Coffee Shop and Conferencing Centre closures for 2025

The Coffee Shop will be closed over the Summer Holidays from 4th-29 August and over the Christmas period from 22nd December-2nd January 2026.

The Conference Centre will be closed from the 22nd December until the 2nd January 2026.
Both the Coffee Shop and Conference Centre will re-open after the Christmas break at 9am on the
5th January 2026.

NEW FOR 2025

We are so excited to be able to offer our customers a variety of simple board and card games during our 'Game Cafe' which will take place on Fridays from 10am-2pm.
Come along - grab yourself a drink and cake and join us at our community table. If you prefer you can bring your own game and friends as well!

Opening and closing times over the Christmas period.

As per usual Wells Place Centre will be closed over the Christmas period. The Coffee Shop will close at 2pm on Friday 20th and the Conference Centre will close at 5pm. We will re-open on the 2nd Jan. For the 2nd and 3rd Jan The Coffee Shop will only serve Drinks, cake and snacks. From the 6th January full service will resume. Community ministry will be running but at certain times only. Please see below for details.

We have now launched our brand new Coffee Shop website!

The Coffee Shop at Wells Place Centre website was officially launched this month. Concentrating on all things 'coffee shop' the website has a wealth of information on our special events and community support as well as details on our food. We have started running a variety of community events to enable us to better serve our community. Keep a special eye out for our Saturday Brunch openings which are featured in the 'Special Events' section.

New at Wells Place Centre and proving to be very popular is Lunch at 12.30. THis takes place every Thursday at ...well... 12.30! Buy your lunch and drink and take a seat at one of our community tables or a private one if you prefer a quiet lunch!
